On June 4, we will protest against the meeting of financial investors (\u201cSuperReturn\u201d) and that of the real estate lobby (\u201cReal Estate Day of the ZIA\u201d). These meetings are attended by the profiteers of the Mietenwansinn (rent madness) – but no profit should be made from the basic need for housing! Housing policy must be geared towards the needs of the people and not towards increasing share prices! Join us in the demonstration!\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b<\/p>\n

Financial investors meeting \u201cSuperReturn\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

From June 2 to 6, the world’s largest meeting of financial market capital will take place at the Hotel InterContinental Berlin. It is called \u201cSuperReturn\u201d, refering to the outlandish profits the investors take at our expense. 1,800 investment companies will be represented there – all looking for „super returns“ for their wealthy clients. With more than 50 trillion dollars in assets, they have enormous power. They don’t care whether it’s real estate, weapons or gummy bears – the priority is profit. For us tenants, this means further increasing our rent and fear of losing our homes. We resolutely oppose the „SuperReturn“!<\/p>\n

Real estate lobby meeting \u201cReal Estate Industry Day\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

To give the rich even more opportunity to extract wealth from our city, the \u201cTag der Immobilienwirtschaft\u201d (Real Estate Industry Day) will take place on June 4 at the Friedrichstadt-Palast to coincide with the \u201cSuperReturn\u201d. This is Germany’s largest lobby meeting for the real estate sector, organized by its largest lobby association, the ZIA (German Central Real Estate Committee). This is where the profiteers of the housing shortage network with political and administrative leaders. This is where the framework is set to exploit us tenants even more effectively. This is where the Mietenwannsinn is produced. It is one of the places of economic violence and political contempt towards the majority of the population – towards us tenants.<\/p>\n

We will not allow this!<\/strong><\/p>\n

We invite you to join us in demanding a radical U-turn in housing policy. Let’s show the profit-oriented economy and the politics associated with it the red card. Join us for the demonstration starting from the InterContinental Berlin to the Friedrichstadt-Palast, past the CDU headquarters of BlackRock Chancellor Friedrich Merz.<\/p>\n
